Hi All, I have a NT4.0 server with SP2 installed. I am trying to mirror the system disk. The controler is a 2940w so I need to use NT software mirror. I go into the Disk Administrator select the boot partition (NTFS) then hold down ctrl and select the partition to be the mirror. Now I need to select Establish Mirror under Fault Tolerance but it is grayed out Both the partitions are same size and on differnet drives. What am I missing or will this just not work on a 2940 ???? thanks Mike

re: BAGELS::OBRIEN Mike, If there's nothing important on the second drive, be sure to remove the partition that is on it and let the changes take effect in disk manager. Then do the fault tolerance bit. I think NT disk manager wants to create the mirror partition for you. Regards, /Bill | |||||
