Well, I tried the driver, and had no luck with it.
I keep getting an error saying the driver cannot find the device.
I know the device is woring, as it will work from cheyenne backup
( which does not require a driver. I grabbed a demo version from their
website)
I'm betting that I have a dip switch set to the wrong setting,
which is causing the tape drive to mis-identify itself. I have spent
days scouring notesfiles and such to try to find a note describing
the dip switch settings to no avail (manual was lost many, many moons
ago)
Does anyone have any ideas?
Rich
