    I have heard a great deal about 'NT5'. Where would I be able to
    procure a kit to try a few things with. I work in the Benchmark Program
    and have a couple fully configured 8400s and 4100s here I would just
    LOVE to see NT really hop on.
    
    My prime focus is database management and I'd like to experiment with
    different configurations and scenarios while I have time here and

	Re .2, NT 5.0 is not yet in Beta. At the MS Back Office Developers Conference at Long Beach, CA in 09/96, there were demos of "NT 5.0 technologies" and the CD (i don't have it either) contains some of those and i had no idea what else is on it. --svb

	At the PDC, Microsoft gave out a CD that contained previews of the Microsoft Management Console, the Active Directory, and a variety of other code. But this was not a Beta release of NT 5.0. All the previews ran on top of NT 4.0. All words that I have heard with regard to the first public external beta of NT 5.0 is late spring/ early summer. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]
