    I have a 4mm dat tape created with NT 351 Server. I want to restore it
    using the 4mm dat tape driver in NT4 Workstation. Is this a no-no or
    should it work? I received an error indicating incompatible tape
    formats, but perhaps I have a tape problem.
    
    Just looking for a bit of advice on compatibility.

	Some of the service packs for NT V3.5 and 3.51 have caused incompatible backup tapes. You need the NT version and service pack it was written with to be sure you can restore it. Steve P.
