Thanks for the replies.
Re .1, I want to install Windows NT on an Alpha system without having
to visit each system with a floppy.
Re .2, I guess the state would be fresh (nothing on the system disk).
So I'm wondering if remotely triggering a load via the network
interface (Ethernet or FDDI) is possible (or even desirable, come to
think of it, for security reasons). If not that, how about a floppy
with a bar-bones file share client, such that I could mount a CDROM in
a remote system.
