5189.6 | Anti-Virus for Windows NT 4.0 on Alphas?? | CHOWDA::GLICKMAN | writing from Newport,RI | Thu May 15 1997 13:35 | 6 |
| I have asked this in the Windows NT & Alpha notes conference and
haven't necessarily gotten a good answer. Is there an Anti-Virus
that runs on Alphas running Windows NT 4.0 available yet? Or what
are people doing about securit on AlphaServers running Windows NT 4.0?
Appreciating any responses...

I've been using Sophos Sweep for Windows NT. It's available from
the SECTOOLS share on your closest site (or office) server.
\\site-server\SECTOOLS\SWNTIGUI (intel)
\SWNTAGUI (alpha)
In the event you encounter an Excel/Laroux virus, F-Macrow can be
run as well. It can be found on the same SECTOOLS share, in the
\F_PROT folder.
