1774.4command line / share permissions??LURE::naiad.mpo.dec.com::cerlingI'[email protected]Wed Jun 04 1997 16:3911
	Even though this topic was entered quite a while ago, I just had
	a customer ask me the same thing.

	Is there a way to set share permissions via a command line?

	Has anybody looked at XLNT's ability to accomplish this?

	Thanks for any input.

	CACLS at the DOS Prompt. It's already on your system. It's a part of
  NT.

    	Sorry for the lousy formatting on previous note. Check out the
    BackOffice Resource Kit Part One (aka the BORK). Under SMS\Bins you'll
    find ALPHA and I386 directories for SHRPERM.EXE.
