Dianetics, ah yes.... The legacy of L. Ron Hubbard. This is not a company,
but really sort of a religion; some would say a "cult", others would use
far less charitable words.

There's some discussion of Dianetics in NOTED::ASKENET_V4 note 3117.
The actual name of the organization is "The Church of Scientology".

I met a girl on the beach in Ft Lauderdale this past March.

She was reading Dianetics II or something like that.

What an airhead. Even her bodacious bod and surgically improved tetons
    didn't make up for that.

I'm convinced that a taste for L Ron Hubbard can be statistically corro-
    borated with ditziness. ;')

My dictionary goes from

	tether

to

	tetra

That is, there's no

	teton

Is this really a word ? (I've heard of Tetons mountains range but not this
word as a word)

Re .4: Yup. It's French. (The anecdote about the naming of the Tetons
enlivened my junior-high-school geography class quite a bit, as I
    recall...)

Eric, "teton" is in my dictionary, between Tethys and tetr-.

Teton n.,pl. -ton or tons. 1 a member of the western division of the
Sioux Indians. The best known of this division was the Oglala. 2 the
language of this group, forming a dialect of Dakota.

    I didn't exactly follow the dictionary's definition in .3...
