| Pay attention to magazines as well. Many of them, especially the ones
geared toward women (Family Circle, Woman's Day, etc) will contain
articles on how to make totally sinful desserts and calorie rich
dinners followed by one on how to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. It is
indeed a conspiracy.

| What's probably happening is, the audience that spends the most
on gimmick diets also spends the most on junk food, so both kinds
of companies rent time or space to reach that target audience.
