I thought i'd write this because I'd like to share it with you. Of course I realize that their will be people who will look at this thought negatively in one way or another. It's not a religious thought, just a thought that is philosophical and I think interesting. You know it seems so many people today are feeling the squeeze of how hard it has become for people to continue with their old habits as to how they spend their money. Compromises need to be made and things that were once part of their lives are no longer ... People in general are concerned on how much money they do spend these days and what their hard earned money is buying them when they do spend... Yesterday on the News we were shown a picture of the asteroid that the Galileo spacecraft took. It is 231 million miles from the Earth. The asteroid is about 12 miles long and 9 miles wide. It is shaped like a potatoe and the suface looks like what a potatoe looks like after it is cleaned. Let yourself imagine what this world would be like if we didn't have the abundance of life on this planet we call Earth. I think we are really fortunate to be part of it. It's paradise when you compare it to that asteroid... Friends, Who are our friends ? Are we friends because you make my life easier, remove stress from my life, satisfy my needs as a friend or perhaps even lover or are we friends just to satisfy your needs? That is the question... If it is to satisfy your needs then you have to ask yourself, How did we or what did we ever see in eachother to become friends. It's a sad day when we can't answer that question. I like to think that we like or love eachother for who and what we are, not what the other person wants us to be ... I think we have to take a closer look at the kinds of values we are learning in these hectic times and try not to fall into the trap. We must not forget how much friendship means and how important this world is to us. Remember, if people look on the positive sides of things then things do appear to get better. If people look at things negatively all of the time well, then I think they might be missing many opportunities they have in their lives. A living and healthy planet, What a great idea ? With caring and healthy people ... Frank

THANK YOU, Frank. Yes, these days are more stressful, but with people like you out there it sure helps. I like the positiveness of your note, and yes, lets work toward that healthy planet and people. Wonderful thought to start the weekend with 8-) Meredith

Yes, Frank, thank you for your note. I heard you talking about unconditional love and accepting other people for just who they are. In this day and age there is so little of it. Friendships are important and need to be nurtured. Thanks for starting such a postive note. Karen

Pick Your Paradise 1.) The Asteriod: Looks like a cleaned potato. 9 miles in diameter. Devoid of life. 2.) This Planet We Call Earth: Looks like a beach ball. Big diameter. Home of Madonna. Abundance of life. ************************************ re.: .4 I'll take the "potato" if you stay on "this planet we call earth."

I DO SEE lots of caring and forgiving answers here.... that tell us the wide variety of noters and their chemistry... Yes, if we have a few 'cleaned potatoes' full of merchandise away to space... wouldn't that BE NICE? Ana
