| I would love to read the rest of the poem. I loved what I read.

| Me too. It brought tears to my eyes 'cause I'm going through something
similiar ... losing my best friend.

---
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
and sorry I could not be one traveler and travel both,
long I stood and looked down one as far as I could
to where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other as just as fair,
though having perhaps the better claim
for it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there had worn them really about the same.
And both that morning equally lay
in steps no leaves had trodden black.
Oh, I saved the first for another day
yet, knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted that I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
somewhere ages and ages hense.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by.
And that has made all the difference.

| Well, to be exact...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
some where ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Thanks...now I don't have to go look it up tonight.
My memory of 20 some years wasn't all that bad [grin]

| Thank you so, my good and dear friend, Melinda; I am so very
honored. And I cannot conceive of a greater, more cherished
gift than the loving care of such a friend whom I so greatly
admire. I will truly miss the fellowship and community of
NOTES precisely because of people like you.
Thank you and may the god of your understanding bless you with
serenity, courage, wisdom, and joy.
