587.1 | Consult EAP | QUARK::LIONEL | Ad Astra | Mon Sep 26 1988 14:05 | 11 |
| My suggestion is that you first contact your facility's local
EAP (Employee Assistance Program) counselor, through Health
Services. This is completely confidential and free. The counselor
will meet with you as necessary, and if you want, make recommendations
for private counselors in the area.
I have used EAP in this manner, and can vouch for it. And I applaud
your decision to seek help - that is the first step towards
recovery.

| I have learned that the author of the base note is aware of EAP,
and is looking for additional personal recommendations in the
Marlboro area. If you wish to communicate them privately, please
do so by mail to QUARK::HR_MODERATOR (which is me).

It may not be necessary to change. Have you talked about this
with your current psychologist first? He is bound by confidentiality
not to ever say anything to your man that you discuss with him. If after
your discussions with the psychologist you decide to change, then your
current psychologist should be able to recommend suitible to you.
Good Luck.
