| You don't need the JOBS conference, you need the conferences
conference. This ain't it.
Check in TLE::EASYNET_CONFERENCES or consider subscribing to EASYNOTES,
a periodic mailing which lists all conferences. You can subscribe to
EASYNOTES by sending mail to CVG::EASYNOTES.

Hi!
thanks an awful lot for your help. I can access to LIVEWIRE
(yes, I am yawning!) and I got myself into the JOBS conference.
Now, if I can only find a job! :-)
Thanks a lot!

This is a reposting of 563.3, which included some 'garbage'
in the suggested command. Play it again, Meigs:
================================================================================
vtx also has job listings. Type the following command.
$ vtx jobs
If VTX is on your system, the vtx jobs menu will appear and you can
browse (screen by screen -- yawn) thru current job openings. Meigs

| For that matter,
$VTX Jobsuk will get you to the UK jobs book
$VTX Jobs_fe will get you to the Far East jobs book
Other jobs infobases are around, they just haven't registered
yet. If you had a location in mind, it might help.

| We have a very valuable resource in the Mill, by the name of
Sallyann Duffy (223-6488). She offers support and suggestions
for resume and cover letter layout and also emphasizes the
importance of networking. I have just recently found a job
by going on an exploratory (interviewing with a recruiter),
and having them match me up.
If you are not in the Maynard area, I would suggest you call
Sallyann to see if you have similar services in your area.
The best of luck to you!
