| I saw him at Worcester last month. Are you referring to that show
or the NY shows? I presume the material is the same.
I lik Eddie Murphy but I felt his material was extremely offensive,
sexist, & in general poor taste. I also laughed my butt off. This
is a free country. Eddie has the right to his material. Nobody
twisted my arm to see him.
I paid, I went, I listened, I laughed, I left.

RE: -.1
Yes, I am referring to the show he did in Worcester Centrum last
month.
Poor taste... Sure! He was saying things that you always knew
are true, but nobody EVER said it outloud. I am referring here
to his theories about man-woman (or actually, man-women :-)) relationships.
Btw, there is going to be a movie (in theaters, not just on video
tape) made out of this concert. Apparently, I wasn't the only one
who liked the concert!

Eddie Murphy's espousal about man/woman (or should I say man/women)
relationships are definitely his own & probably adhered to by insecure
men who are apt to talk about every sexual conquest as a form of
braggadocio with other swarthy Cro-Magnon men in the locker rooms
across the country.
I am a man & I do not believe that most of Eddie Murphy's cooments
about men/women are true. While we're on the subject, I find it
ironic that Eddie Murphy's attacks on gays belies his own homophobic
male insecurities. Also, I am not white but I find his racial
commentary on whites & blacks both boring & offensive. Richard Pryor,
who has built his career partly on racial commentary has decided
to cease this unneccessary jesting.
As I said before, nobody made me see Eddie. He's still a funny person
& I will still laugh. But I might not be laughing with him.
