    I think it's a great idea also, Al, and very nice of you to be willing
    to offer your place again!!  I enjoyed the last party there (even
    though I only got to be there for a little while...).  I'd definitely
    welcome the chance to meet more of the people in this file and get
    to know them better!!!

   Would look forward to meeting some other Noters at a party at your
    home; will bring along some hot muchies and my own wine.  Set the
    date soon so we can all put it on our calenders.

    Well, let's try the following on for size;
    
    date: DEC 6, 1986
    time: 7:30 p.m. (19:30 to you military brats)
    place: Al's in Maynard, mass
    
    Informal get-together, bring your own liquids and a munchie. I will
    supply cups, ice, paper plates, fire in fireplace. Music will be
    provided as well as air hockey, darts and ping pong in garage(may
    be too cold then).
    
    I will not set a limit on quests for this party, but please rsvp
    so I can post who is coming and sent out directions to the house.
    I would prefer that party be limited to HR noters/readers/participants
    as opposed to an open house.    

    As in last party no drugs please and let's keep alcohol consumption
    to a sane level - last party was fun and no one appeared to inebriated.
    Besides none of us can afford to loose license or risk being an
    ex-noter.

    I think its great that you're planning another party.  I really
    wanted to attend the first one but I was really shy and very hesistant
    about walking into a place where I didn't know anyone....I still
    don't know anyone personally, but I'm going to try to not let that
    bother me this time.
    
    May I suggest that we are asked to bring some sort of favorite homemade
    personal "specialty" as food rather than just bringing "munchies".

    anyone is welcome to bring whatever they wish in terms of munchies,
    hors d'oeuvre etc. I just don't want anyone to feel compulsion to
    cook as in a dinner party. For those who cooking is second nature
    bring your specialty party snack. For those less inclined bring
    store type munchies.

    The party sounds great & the date is fine by me.  I just wanted
    to let you know that December 6th, the FRIENDS notesfile is trying
    to set up a party as well.  It sounds like a NH location - presently
    the suggestion is 40 miles north of Nashua.  In Note 31.19 there
    are more specifics and the person to respond to is NANOOK::SCOTT.
    
    I'll be in touch over the net.  Just wanted to let you know of a
    possible conflict of interest.

    Yes, we were trying to arrange a party for the Friends conference
    but to date there has not been any real interest shown.  Since this
    party is much more responsive, my suggestion is to go ahead with
    it and let the Friends party fall by the wayside.  If it does,
    and I suspect it will, you can definitely count me in.  I even
    think I might be able to find it this time with out getting lost.

    Al, you're a living doll!!  Another party??  Count me in!!  And
    for any of those shy people out there - I didn't know a soul before
    the last party - but the conversation never ceased!!  The company
    was best, the mood was relaxed, and the food was GGGRRREEEAAATTT!!

    I'll definitely mark the date on my calendar, Al, as I'd like to
    spend more time with H_R Noters than I got to do last time.  
    
    Unfortunately I have my sons that night, but will see what I can

    I would really like to come and meet some of the people in the
    notesfile.  I am, as a few others have mentioned, kind of paranoid
    about walking into a strange party alone.  But, since I'm now truly
    single for the first time in 16 years I guess I'd better get used
    to it sometime!  (Maybe there should be an escort service where
    a single woman can get a guy to walk into a place with her - and
    then just disapear when she's comfortable!)

    Al, count me in for your Dec. 6 party.  To any other hesitant females,
    I attended the BIG Singles Halloween party in Sudbury alone and found it
    was quite easy after the first hesitant minutes.  Met a lot of nice
    folks even though they were strangely dressed.  Ever held a
    conversation with a skunk? (Don't answer that!)

    I'd like to be added to the list of potential attendees to the party.
    So far I've done more reading than writing in this conference, but
    I haven't been writing in many other conferences either.

    Count me in too.  Being somewhat new to DEC, I have been a hesitant
    noter.  However, I followed this conference since I discovered notes.
    It will be interesting to finally meet the people only know to me
    as names/nicknames in H_R (and others) notes conferences.

people (especially one in paricular) at your last bash.  Looking
forward to another good time.  But maybe an increase in the music
volume would be nice.

        I'd sure like to come to your party after hearing all these
    great reports about your last one.  I've been reading H_R most of
    the afternoon (one of those lovely slow days), and even though I
    haven't had anything to say, I'm an avid reader -- and would enjoy

    friend of mine who works in Spitbrook, so count this as 2.

    i had mead once --nectar of the gods--  i loved it -- would you
    mind bringing your recipe, too ... you just can't find good mead
    recipes these days.  i'd be glad to be your guinea pig for mead,
    and the HFD sounds good,too, expecially the hedonistic part..
    
    what kind of game is Illuminati?  sounds enlightening...i'm game.
