The beauty of trees, leaves, ungulates, birds of prey, large
preditors, clear skys, sun sets/rises, fluffy clouds, pounding
surf, swift currents, gentle breezes, sexy women, Mandelbrot
graphs, aquatic mammals, gorillas, mountain peaks, clear
springs, fast cars, chopping wood, a cozy fire, fresh snow,
a light rain, clear moonlit nights, and deep woods.
Being touched by God, and knowing that He cares.

| Beethoven's 9th (he and some other people wrote some other stuff
too...). Chasing a rubber model airplane that I've built, watching
it hit a thermal and take wing on its own.
But, once in a while, once maybe in a year or two, I run into someone
that's coming from my place, who I can start in talking with right
off the bat about things like life and God...and finally, once,
in a decade or so, I run into someone who's found the center of
the cyclone, and I learn.

look... knowing that I am loved...

| I've noticed that certain gems of entries bring tears to my eyes, they
are that moving.
Other entries are candid but don't move me to tears.
Does it happen to you too ?
What's the essence ? What makes the difference ?
For example, someone wrote
"A rainy afternoon, a guitar, a pencil and blank paper"
That one swelled my eyes with tears.
This question obviously applies to most other topics in this file.

| My husband and I discussing plans for the future... like building
our own home.
When someone tells me "Thank you"... for being my friend, for being
here when I needed you, for giving me the info/solution nobody else
had time for, etc.
Sitting at the ocean on a moonlit night and watching the reflection
on the water, smelling the salt air, and feeling at peace.
Remembering special times with special people.
