1267.0. "bad checksum on regulator" by GIDDAY::PUDIPEDDI () Mon May 26 1997 03:13
Hi ,
We have a problem with our VAX7830 system in the sense that
intermittantly it spits out msg on the console that "Central
cabinet regulator B is bad, event tpe = 00000004, also
ther is an error log entry saying "Bad Checksum or no answer
from a valid location" and also central cabinet regulator B bad.
The system has 3 regulators and we have aleady replaced the middle
regulator ( reg B) but still these error messages are appearing both
on console and errorlog.
As a next step we intend to replace CCL at the same time do a show
power at console to make sure all regulators are working ok.
Are there any other suggestions we can do when we get the system for
outage next. Any other ideas appreciated.
thanks
Subu
