I recently upgraded a VAX 7740 to a VAX 7840. I have seen this documented before but don't remember if there was a fix or not. They are running VMS version 6.1+ and the system still sees the CPU's as 77xx boards. Is there a patch for this or will it just be resolved in a later version of VMS 6.2+ or 7.x. etc. It obviously isn't hurting anything but we are wondering if we can fix it. Larry
