    Hi,
    
    Can anyone tell me the max number of FDDI (DEMFA) adaptors currently
    supported on VAX 76xx and 77xx systems?

	Depends on what you read. The May '96 SOC on page 3.53 says 8 and on page 3.56 it says 7 (max of 4 per XMI). On page 5.2 it says something else which [I think] is obviously wrong. To get the correct answer you will probably have to read the SPD for VMS. Gut feeling says if you go with less then 8 and no more than 4 per XMI you will be safe. Larry
