387.0. "Thai Chili" by YNGSTR::WIRYAMAN (My other system runs ULTRIX!) Tue Aug 25 1992 13:28
I just find out there will be a new Thai restaurant called Thai Chili in
downtown Maynard, opening this Thursday. It is located where Lou's Express
Cafe used to be, on Main Street across from Paul's bakery.
The restaurant has the same owner as Thai Avenue on Rt. 20 Sudbury. I believe
the owner used to work at Chez Siam in Marlboro, started his own restaurant at
Thai Avenue and now will be expanding to Maynard. The food at Thai Avenue is
very good and the price is reasonable, most entrees are cheaper than those in
other Thai restaurants I have been in. The owner will be the chef in Maynard,
and his wife will stay in Sudbury, so I expect Thai Chili will serve very good
dishes, too. So please give Thai Chili a try on your next lunch/dinner outing.
I have no relation to Thai Chili, I am just excited to have a good Thai
restaurant in downtown Maynard. I hope it will contribute to the downtown
revitalization which is desparately needed.

| We agree, we ate at the Thai Avenue in Sudbury and it was nice to see that they
opened the place in Maynard so we don't have to travel so far. Our only
complaint was that they don't have the mussles at the Maynard place as they did
in Sudbury. The owner was pleased to see us in his new place - and still remem-
bered our favorites.
