So the VFW on main street is gone, [it was next to Bud's Variety] and
there is a church in its place. Does anyone know what denomination the
church is? Its St. Stephens but, Im wondering what denomination, Id
guess catholic...

The "Beacon" states its denomination is Indian Orthodox.
The other Orthodox church in Maynard is the Holy Annunciation
Orthodox Church (Russian) on Prospect Street.
