I read in the Beacon today that they are having a Las Vegas night at
the Will Dodd Community Center.
Is this a good deal? Three dollars for admission? Is this the first
time they have held it at this place?
I enjoy going to Vegas nights and have not seen any in Maynard for a
long time. I understand the Elks is going to be having one in October,
admission $5-10 including a dinner. Sounds reasonable to me.
Anybody have any details on either places for Las Vegas night? ie
crowded, non-smoking.
Thanks,
Lin

Will Dodd Community Center frequently holds Las Vegas Nights. I personally have never attended at Will Dodd. The $ 3.00 admission is in line with all others who conduct this type of fund raiser. Regarding the Maynard Lodge of Elks: If the crowd is large enough, then both halls will be opened, it is quite large, lots of windows and air conditioning. I have photographed weddings there and it is quite comfortable with high ceilings and lots of room. It is difficult to have a non-smoking section, so I don't believe that is possible. Julian | |||||
