We go to Dr. Wong at Acton Medical. So does your supervisor and his
wife. (They drive up from Marlboro.)
Maybe I'm making too much of this, but "Maynard or Concord"? Is Acton
on the preferred list?

| Oh, good heavens, Bob, I meant the comment about Acton as a *joke*!
I'm sure Chuck didn't deliberately exclude Acton from consideration.
Lighten up!

Sorry, it's hard to lighten up when one is still taking abuse
it wants to make you dig your heels in.

310.5 | Dr. Couper | SENIOR::IGNACHUCK | Native Maynardian | Tue Jul 30 1991 21:15 | 10 |
| This last spring I changed from John Hancock to Harvard Medical
and in the course of this change I had to find a new GP. I found
Dr. Couper at the Acton Medical Associates to be a very good GP
and I recommend him highly. He's fairly new and has an open
calendar which means you don't have to wait months to get an
appointment.
Give him a try.

310.6 | Dr. Dan Tilles | ULTRA::DONAHUE | OH! Do you still work here? | Tue Jul 30 1991 23:23 | 9 |

I go to Dr. Tilles at Concord Hillside Medical. He's the primary care
physician for Harvard Community Health Plan. I also had him when I was
under John Hancock insurance.
He has a nice personality, but more important, he doesn't miss a thing.
The number is (508)371-1300.
Good luck!

| I see Stephen Neustat on Nason Street in Maynard; I've been
going to him for over six years. He is kind, sympathetic, and
a good diagnostician. As a patient, I feel that I am a participant
in my own medical care. One caveat: I have never seen Dr. Neustat
at the scheduled time. I always bring a lot to read, and he always
runs late (and apologizes profusely). Many people can't stand this
aspect of his practice; the tradeoff for me is that when I do see
him, I get as much time as I need.

| call Emerson Hospital -- they have a Physician's Referral Service;
it's been advertised in the Beacon. The main switchboard no. there is

310.9 | I'm looking, too! | MR4DEC::DERAMO | | Wed Jul 31 1991 13:03 | 7 |
| Dr. Neustat is my primary care physician through Tufts Associated
Health Plan. I have always been pleased with him as a doctor, but
cannot stand the waiting -- which is consistently an hour or longer.
I avoid going to him because of this, and that's not good. I'm
currently looking for a new physician that works with Tufts members.

| re .9 -- that's one reason why we [hubby and i] left neustat. Can't
figure out why he was always so far behind, yet you could see him in his
office. he was convenient, since we work in maynard, but that and some
other things that happened just weren't worth it in the long run.
