| If my memory serves me correctly the leaf pickup will be Saturday, 4 May 1991.
As far as bags go, I am not sure of all of the places to purchase them but last time I bought them I
purchased them at Victory on RT62

| Any word on when spring street sweeping will begin? I usually try to
sweep the sand off my sidewalk and into the street before this event.
As an aside, does anybody know whether this "used" sand gets recycled?
There must be *tons* of it picked up each spring, though it would
probably need to be sifted to remove pebbles and organic matter.

| The DPW will post a notice when and what streets will be sweeped. As
far the sand it is just dump. I was told that the sand is
rounded,smoothed etc that it has no clinging properties left so it is
useless to reuse and it does do good as a land fill cover also.

ok, back to the leaves question.
Where do you get the bags? Victory was out and Aubuchon does not
carry.
Also, leaf pick up is twice or three times a year, right? what if you
use these bags for your grass clippings? Can you bring them to the
heap yourself? where? when? rules?

| For those of you who do not know, leaf pick up day is May 2nd. They
said to have them out early, like by 7:00am.
