172.1 | Call Logan Airport | CARTUN::DERAMO | | Fri Sep 22 1989 09:37 | 11 |
| I believe that there is an information line at Logan that can tell you
about transportation in and out of the Airport. As I recall, there are
a number of companies providing scheduled and charter transportation
out along rt 2. At least one of them will pick up and drop off in
Maynard.
These services would be significantly less expensive than renting your
own limo. As for a TV ...

| Thanks for the pointer... In this case, it appears as if the limo
route will be within the price range for money allocated to the
vacation.

172.3 | why pay to call logan | NETMAN::DISMUKE | Chocolate lips don't lie... | Fri Sep 22 1989 17:45 | 7 |
| why pay to call logan. just look in your local phone book. I used one
from Hudson (I think it was Continental - I don't have a Hudson book to
check) for my wedding 5 years ago. They are cropping up all over. I
even have a friend who drives a limo and she is always busy!

172.4 | Littleton Limo | HAVOC::MCGUIRE | | Tue Sep 26 1989 13:33 | 6 |

their service. Their number is 1-800-222-5477.
Have fun!

| I used Acton Limo (which is actually in Maynard) but I wasn't pleased
with their service.

172.6 | Not pleased with Littleton Limo | RAINBO::WALKER | | Wed Sep 27 1989 15:49 | 4 |
| I didn't want a stretch limo, just a ride home from the Airport. Well, they
picked up four other people besides me, and dropped me off last, so what
should have been a 45-60 min. trip turned out to be 2 hours. Next time
I took a cab.

172.7 | no more for me | DINER::SHUBIN | Question everything | Wed Sep 27 1989 17:11 | 10 |
| I took one of those limo services once and wound up having to change
vans in Marlboro. It was really frustrating, and took forever. Aside
from that, I left something in the van and it was returned crushed.
I've given up on vans, cabs and limos. I had K&J taxi in Maynard tell
me that they couldn't meet me at the helipad at PKO ("something came
up") and I've been in too many vehicles that smelled of years of smoke.
If I have to go to Logan, I drive myself or get a ride.

172.8 | Continental in Hudson | EMIRFI::CAMBER | | Thu Sep 28 1989 15:59 | 13 |

Continental Limo in Hudson is quite good. I've used them a
couple times for special occasions in the last 4 years and
never had a problem.
The last one we rented was a stretch w/TV,VCR,sun roof, opera
lights (little lights around the interior fr subtle lighting)
and it cost us $40 an hour. They may have a different charge
for transportation to/from Logan however.
Good luck --S

172.9 | Framingham express | CASPRO::DUNN | | Mon Oct 02 1989 15:41 | 10 |

This isn't going to help the person in .0, but don't any of you take
the Framingham express?
I take it and it's great. Only 20 -30 min from here, $7.00 each way,
$4.00 to park you car in a fenced, attended lot. They run every 1/2
hour most of the time, start very early and run till very late.
Try it next time !!

172.10 | Make A Parking Reservation | BIZNIS::MARINER | | Tue Oct 03 1989 12:46 | 12 |
| The only thing about the Framingham Express is sometimes you can't get
your car in the lot. They will tell you to park it outside but they
won't watch it for you. You can make a reservation tho.
This actually happened to me one day, just an ordinary day, and I ended
up driving clear into Logan and paying to park in a "secure" lot versus
leaving the car out in an unguarded lot.
So be forewarned.
