| It's a canoe launching/loading ramp? :-)
I'm guessing they're going to dredge the pond, but don't know why
they'd do that... but if they did, they'd have to remove the stuff
from a barge with something, and the belt would do the job...
any other guesses? (inquiring minds want to know!)
or can you top our silly guesses?

| Hmmmmm... I see now, there appears to be a small surface
"boom" (like the kind used to control oil spills) attached
to the bottom of the thing.. Wonder what they plan to collect
with it? In about a month, they'll get one heck of a lot of algae!

the job is being done by in-house maintainance and the contact/manager
for this particular job is Gordon Baker. you can reach him at x9246.
i spoke to him earlier about this briefly and from what i could
gather they are cleaning the garbage out of the mill pond. there
will be a dumpster there shortly too, fyi. hope this helps-
