| Ok - I know, they weren't on last night. I stayed up too.
But, this is what happened. Johnny Carson got sick just before
the show and they couldn't find a substitute at such short
notice, so they ran a repeat.
If he's still sick today, they will have the Maynard kids on
tonight with a substitute. So it will definitely air tonight!

I saw that show last year, are you sure it isn't a re-run or
did they invite the same kids back. I believe one of them invented
a lunch box with a burglar alarm built in.

| No, it's not a repeat. All new kids and inventions this year.
One of them will be a toilet seat that glows in the dark.
I missed it last year, so, I'm looking forward to seeing this
years.

| Hi Kip, No, my daughter is a sophomore, they only have 6th(?) graders
doing the inventions.
One of the teachers (Nancy Justason, I think) thought up the idea of
having the kids invent things. She contacted the Johnny Carson show
to see if they would be interested in interviewing the kids, and they
liked the idea. It went over so big the first year, they want them
back every year.
