| If every other teenager in town goes in there as often
as my daughter does, I'm sure they will stay in business.
The Santoro's also play in a band and do construction.
They remodeled Mannings pharmacy and did a bathroom
for a friend of mine. They do very good work.

| OK, now we know how they stay in business. They are very pricey.
I simply wont pay the regular price. I look through the 3.99 bins
though. Never found anything worth buying, but you never know.

| He has the best everyday price on Compact Disks for miles around, usually
$13.99 or $14.99. He had a pretty good turn-around on a special order too.
(For that matter, he has the ONLY record store for miles around.)

re: .3
$13.99 or $14.99? Hate to say this, but those are barely competitive.
The majority of his stock is higher than that, seems to me - especially
anything classical or jazz. You can get a better deal in Acton
at the store next to Folsom's on Rt 2A (forget the name).
Ah - saw you had the word "everyday" in your note - that MAY be
true, actually. Who pays list for these suckers?

| There are two other CD sources of note in the area:
The Minor Chord, in the mall on 2A in Acton, and
The Acton Music Center, on route 27 right near the bridge
and the Feed and Grain supplier, in what used to be called
"The Pink Church," until they painted it blue.

| I bought CDs there - they were cheaper than most places. He seems to have
raised his prices lately...

48.7 | Very expensive | USWAV8::KINNEY | | Tue Feb 24 1987 13:19 | 9 |
| Seems like everything I want is 16.99! And thats if I find what
I want. Maybe he's having a sale or something lately. I haven't
been in there in a couple weeks.
The Acton Music Center just started selling records, tapes and CD's.
They have color coded priceing which I find annoying.

| Okay, I haven't been there since mid-summer. Apparently prices went up.
