94.0. "still chip not recognized problem" by NCMAIL::LEFFLERM () Thu May 15 1997 14:58
    I recently installed iprobe on a 2 cpu 8200 440MHz machine running Unix
    4.0a.
    I used Iprobe0221Unix40.tar_z. It unpacked and installed OK. When
    iprobe is invoked, it returns "error: chip not recognized. Iprobe may
    not work properly" then core dumps.

    I then put the IprNew.mod in place. Even after rebooting, I get the
    same message. From everything I've read in here & on the web page, I
    shouldn't be getting this error anymore. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Mark
