If it fails, I always end up with a file tmp* When I looked in there, I saw a bunch of stuff I had printed out from my .cshrc & .login files, and then finally the name of the executable I was running. When I changed my .cshrc & .login files to not print everything, rep successfully worked (and no longer printed out the .tmp files) Another potential enhancement: When the tmp file is read, only look at the last line to get the binary's name. -- Chuck Newman |
