275.0. "MWv2.2 and MCM6.0A" by NNTPD::"[email protected]" (ZELENKA) Wed May 14 1997 09:46

Hi,

I have used ManageWorks v2.2 and MultiChassis Manager v5.0.
Then I upgraded MCM to 6.0A because of new VN switch in network.
After that, if I try to start MCM from MW I get following message:
Could not load CustCntl.dll please exit this program.

The Hub front screen comes up but if I click on a module I get the
error that this application has performed an illegal operation and to
shut it down now. Then the hub goes away.

There is the same question in hub_mgnt on netcad,
Topic #4389: ``Problems running Cvision MCM after Manageworks??''
from which is part of this question copied, but no answer.

Can anyone help?

Did you re-integrate the MCM application into manageworks after
installing 6.0? Manageworks may think it's still talking
    to the old one?

Don't know anytyhing about MCM but this could be the problem,
especially if the CustCntl.dll was deleted/modified when the
    upgrade happened.

Hi,

thank you for answer.
I made a fresh installation (1. W95-MW-MCM, 2. W95-MCM-MW)but it didn't help.
