HI I didn't find the answer from 203.*. What if the NMS is rolling in complete different physical system ? I tried to send a disk utilization trap from Serverworks console to SunNet Manager, nothing happens. It looks like Manageworks sends link up and link down traps, but what about Serverworks and it's alarms ? -Jari

disk utilization in Server Works is not controlled via a trap. If you get the Server Works Alarm Tool up, the only alarms that cause traps are temperature, voltage, simms, fans and power supply statuses and the readings of the temperature and voltages. There is a white paper prepared by Bernie that describes how to setup HP OpenView traps with Server Works. This is posted on \\jules\public share on \Cayman\swtrp.doc | |||||
