Customer is getting the following error during ManageWorks startup on Windows NT 4.0 machine: Event Dispatcher: Winsock Error Setting up SNMP trap port=10048! Please check your services file for an entry as follows: SNMP TRAP 162/UDP. Any idea what this means? Everything seems to work ok - but maybe there will be a trap or alarm that won't work as expected. Thanks, Gary

Gary, I hope you got this straight. We discussed it last week. Edit the SERVICES File in the Windows directory, and add the entry as the error message defines. snmp-trap udp/162 Chet White | |||||

Chet - Actually this was a different customer but I've made a note of it. The other customer reinstalled due to NT being messed up and the error went away. Gary |
