Customer is running DMQ V3.2A on a VAX/OVMS V6.2 system. Last week they found some errors pertaining to MRS in the evl.log, and wants to know what caused it. MRS_SERVER date time UNEXPECTED ERROR SERVER_CHECK timer is 294 seconds late I found entry 1108 reporting the same problem, which indicated that SERVER CHECK TIMER may have fragmented virtual memory, it was supposed to be fixed in V2.1. Are we seeing the same problem here? /Dave

>MRS_SERVER date time UNEXPECTED ERROR SERVER_CHECK timer is 294 seconds late This message usually occurs after a time change. Must likely the system time moved forward so that it appears that it took the server check timer longer to complete than expected. This message can be ignored as long as there doesn't appear to be any other errors. The errors should go away on their own. -Lisa |
