2799.0. "dmqivpipc params signification ?" by GVA05::GUY () Tue Mar 04 1997 12:56

I have the following question on DMQ Unix

When you run dmqivpipc you provide a bus number and a group number.

question : Can the group number be a group declared in the XGROUP section ?

Thanks.

Jean-Paul.

   For dmqivpipc these are not the bus and group ids. They are the
   the number of buses and number of groups respectively, that you
   are expected to run on the system. The report displayed tells you
   if system resources are set too low.

Thanks for your answer, but when you say number of groups, is it number of local
groups or does it include remote groups declared in the XGROUP section
