I pulled the DMQAXPMUPA032 files off of a CD to install on an Alpha VAXcluster. This is a brand new installation. Do I need to install anything prior to installing this kit or is this a complete kit by itself? The example in the release kits mentions DMQAXP030. Do I have to install this kit first before the MUP? Once I install DMQ do I need to see someone about group codes for the different CPU's to setup DMQ or is that something that is needed for other products that use DMQ like HSA? Thanks. Rob

Do I have to install this kit first before the MUP? The VMS MUP kits are full remasters of the base kits. All of the special installation dependancies are covered in the Cover Letter (i.e. TCP, DNS, VMS patches...). > Once I install DMQ do I need to see someone about group codes for the > different CPU's to setup DMQ or is that something that is needed for > other products that use DMQ like HSA? Thanks. By "group codes" do you mean DmQ group IDs? If this is the case it is up to you or whoever manges the assignments of DmQ Buses and Groups. Marty |
