| 1) yes, you need all three on the same system. the QMB runs as an
application attached to both flavors of queue manager simultaneously.
2) runtime only, as it is pre-built.

| No plans for MQSeries Connection on Digital Unix. It is technically
impossible since IBM does not support MQSeries on Digital Unix.
We have specifically declined to support MQSeries Connection on any of
the brain-dead Level 1 versions of MQSeries. In the past, only Level 1
was available for OpenVMS/VAX and none on Alpha. I have heard that
Level 8 Corp is working on a port of MQSeries Level 2 on OpenVMS/Alpha.
If your customer has Level 2 on OpenVMS and needs a port, please
contact me at 860-258-5281 to further discuss the business opportunity.

2776.4 | mqseries is available | OZROCK::PERKINS | Some contractors, their sex-life destroyed and overwhelmed by project pressures, turn to snorting quack. | Thu May 29 1997 02:02 | 8 |
| Level 2R2 Mqseries is available on both Vax and Alpha.
This is a full server implementation running on at least
decnet, tcp/ip and lu6.2.
This is a client version of MQS available for Digital Unix
(free of charge) that be downloaded from the ibm www site...
it should be noted that the support level for this is low at
the moment
