	Is the DMQ-DEV licence just a "right" to do development,
	or are there any checks in place ? 

	ie:

	Since I can install the DMQ include files, and archive 
	library from the DEV subset (I guess I'm mainly talking U*IX,
	but this is a general DMQ qu), there isn't anyway I can see
	to stop development. Or is there ? Can DMQ detect an app' 
	built on a non DMQ-DEV licence system, & not allow the app' to
	connect ?

	OR,

	Is the DMQ-DEV licence really just a "$" thing to show the 
	customer has the *legal right* to build DMQ apps ?

	Ignoring the "legal perspective" for a moment, is there 
	ANYTHING (no matter how obscure) you can do with DMQ-DEV that
	you CAN'T do with DMQ-RTO ?

	don't get me started. no. there is no check. we expect customers to be on their honor. the way to enforce it is to build a key into the library itself and have all linker and library tools check the license. But this would require universal cooperation by all vendors of such tools (including shareware, gnu, and other garage style vendors). _sjz.
