Hi, I am trying to use DMQ 3.2 with Windows 95 and VB 4.0 32 bit and DECnet. The document says this version of DMQ only support DECnet for 16 bit application by PATHWORKS limitation. But by the PATHWORKS notes file, DECnet WINSOCK routines can use with 32 bit application. Does anyone can help me?

The PATHWORKS for Windows 95 kit does provide 32-bit support, but you need to use the Skt API. They also provide an import lib which makes the 32-bit functions available via the BSD socket API. However, that doesn't work for us because we use the WinSock API. Support for a 32-bit DECnet WinSock won't be available until they release a WinSock 2 implementation. We plan to add this to the Windows Client when it's ready. Pat |
