When I start DECmessageQ for UNIX V3.2A for the first time will the MRS process (dmqjourn) convert the journals automatically to V3.2A format? Just curious if I need to ensure that all journals are "empty" prior to upgrading a production system. Alan.

I didn't see any mention in the release notes (November 1996). You have answered my question through -- I must check that there are no pending messages in any of the permanent queues prior to installation. Alan |
