		IFT1 in about two weeks with global naming limited to already
		created DNS names (i.e. no way to create global names)

		
		FT2 in mid-November with virtually all functions ready
		including DNS name create



It is now almost 6 months later with no sign!!!!!

any update on FT+release dates please.

  Yes, you are right that I stated that VMS should have been out long ago. 
However, soon after I made that statement virtually all work stopped on the VMS
kit in order to assure that the UNIX kit made it's deadlines.  Now that the UNIX
kit is almost ready to go to SSB work has restarted on VMS.  The VMS FT1 kit is
in the last stages of checkout (release notes and some installation tests) and
should be ready by Friday (I really mean it this time).  The FT1 kit is more
functional that what was to be going out in back in November.  FT2 is scheduled
for beginning of May release.
