Hi, I have a problem with one of our customer when we installed DNSES and digiboard in AS2100 model 4-200. After installing the digiboard and DNSES and also did wansetup kernel. It look like okay but after rebooting the system can't boot up. The system got a panic at SIA. If we only installed the DNSES or digiboard, everything is okay. We already tried installing X25 with version xxa200, xxa130 and also xxa12a but still got the same result. And also tried to upgrade the firmware from V 3.11 to V4.4; reinstall O/S and change digiboard I/O address from 324h to 104h. But if we installed the DNSES and digiboard on AS1000 and using system disk from 2100; it is okay. Any suggestion ???? The configuration : Alpha server 2100 DUnix V3.2B Firmware 3.11 or 4.4 X25 software V2.0 or V1.3 or V1.2a DNSES & Digiboard module Thanks in advanced. Rgds, Benny

What Digiboard?
Do you have the DNSES and the ??? Digiboard using the same IRQ?
What OS version?
What does "The system got a panic at SIA." mean?
(e.g. The system had a panic as a message beginning 'SIA ...'
was being output on the console; you have looked at the crash dump and
a function called SIA called the UNIX panic function; ...)

Hi,
Digiboard is 8 port Async.
The IRQ are different, we can installed that module at AS1000 without
panic.
OS V3.2B
I think "SIA" is the digiboard controller and the system was panic
after reading SIA.
