    Hi,
    
    The customer was using the following configuration as its application.
    Its vax used the controller talked to remote via x.25 PVC.
    
            VAX---controller---pvc--x.25
    
    Now we want to sell the alpha 1000a as PVC gateway as below
    
            x.25
             |
            pvc
             |
       DENES controller
             |
       AlphaServer 1000A
             |
             |               ----------LLC2???
             |
     Existing VAX host systems
    
    Now from SPD, the mutlihost/GAP can't support in AlphaServer. So can I
    use the LLC2 protocol for VAX and AlphaServer in between? The VAX is
    running V5.5-x, but I don't know what version in VAX PSI. Which PSI can
    support LLC2? I can't upgrade the OpenVMS/VAX software for applciation
    reason.
    
    Or I must use the DECNIS for PVC gateway?
