266.0. "Popups Appear As Main Windows" by TNPUBS::WOODWARD (I'll put this moment...here) Fri Apr 25 1997 15:49
Hi:
I am in the middle of creating a context-sensitive help file that
includes "what's this" help.
When I test my popup "what's this" help using the the Microsoft Help
Workshop, the popups appear correctly, that is, as popups.
However, when I link my help file to the application, my popups appear
as main windows if you click what's this on any menu entry from the
toolbar.
The popups do appear correctly if click what's this inside any field in
a dialog box.
I am wondering if there is something I need to do to my help file to
correct this or if the application developer has to do something.
Thanks! Kathy Woodward
