| A friend of mine took it in last weekend and said (and I quote)
"I laughed my arse off!". Then again, he's is a fan of Mike Meyers.

Well I was expecting 20 minutes of laughs in a 90 minute movie...
But as we found out last nite it was better than that... It was
entertaining, Mike Myers pulls both the good guy and the bad guy off
well and the whole spoof of Austin Powers being from 1967 really
worked.,
i'd give it *** out ***** (***1/2 if you're a big MM fan!)

...the humour was a little too much "Benny Hill" if you know that
reference!

This received decent reviews so I gave it a chance. My one word review
doesn't agree: Weak.
It should have had much more fun with the sixties colours,
cinematography, music, and style than it did. It gave tokens to each,
not nearly enough, and what was there, was weak. Same with the humour,
not nearly enough, and what was there, was weak.
This could have been a great concept if executed better with a little
more effort. Two out of five stars, not worth the matinee price.
