I looked and couldn't find a note for the movie "Grosse pointe blank"...I saw it this past weekend and thought it was a funny movie... I was wondering if anyone else saw it and their opinions about it..... Spoiler: I thought Dan Akroyd did a good job in this movie... He makes his character totally believable in a comic sort of way. I was very suprised that Minnie Driver could hide her accent that well for this movie...certain parts in the move you can almost here it come out. I saw an interview with her last week and I love her real accent. Jenn

I saw this movie last week, and enjoyed the first 3/4 of it. John Cusack has been one of my favorite actors since the days of "Better Off Dead" and "The Sure Thing". He certainly doesn't disappoint, and Minnie Driver is terrific as his high school girlfriend who he goes back to visit. But once reunion night arrives, the script doesn't seem to know what it wants to do, and opts for a traditional shoot 'em up, ride off into the sunset kind of ending that doesn't fit with the quirkiness and originality of the rest of the movie. 7 out of 10 from me.
