| I remember really liking it, but it's been a while since I've seen it.
Time for another look!

This has been on my top ten list for awhile.
It's one of those movies that you can watch again and again. And is
funny every time.

| My favorite scene shows a muddy creature raising itself from the muck,
like some half-formed primordial lungfish determined to live on land.
It looks like the earth itself is giving birth.
This turns out to be John Goodman escaping from prison.

| When reviewing Fargo, either Siskel or Ebert said that they would like to see
the Coen Brothers release a new movie every week. A world that like that would
not be a bad place to live...
I saw Raising Arizon quite a while ago and caught only a little bit of it
recently. I think I'd like to see it again.
My favorite Coen movies are Blood Simple, Fargo and Miller's Crossing;
approximately in that order.

| Excellent flick! Thanks for reminding us, Warren; it's bene far too
long since I've seen it. A couple of my favorite scenes:
- Zoom in on the policeman's name tag as Hi's boss tells him one of
his famous jokes;
- The furniture king who can't resist plugging the sale at his
store while being interviewed during a grave family crisis;
- Hi looking at his hand, looking up at the motorcycle guy, and
saying "I'm sorry..."
Sounds like viewing for the weekend!

<not word for word, but..>
"And when there was no crawdads, we ate sand."
"You ate what?"
"We ate sand."
"You ate sand?"
"What was the child wearing?"
"What? Nobody sleeps naked in this house. He was
wearing his jammies!"
"And what did they look like?"
"What?? I don't know - they had Yodas and s**t on 'em
or somethin'!"
