| I saw it a couple of nights ago - it is my favorite movie of the
summer. Costner is perfect in the role of a guy who should be better
than he is, and can't seem to get a grip on why he's not. Cheech Marin
almost steals the movie as his best friend. Rene Russo is terrific,
and there are several excellent supporting roles. Watching the 330 +
Pound Dennis Burkley try to caddy is worth the price of admission
alone! Lastly, Don Johnson was made to play Costner's slimeball rival.
