    Haven't seen the flick but from what I've read and heard, it's quite a
    bit like Dumb and Dumber. Also heard that it's ALOT more gross (is
    that proper english?) than Dumber.

    This one also stars Woody Harrelson. Haven't seen anything really
    worthwhile from Bill Murray in quite sometime.........maybe this flick
    will be help.

    Maybe someone who's heard anything about the movie could be more help!
1132.2Miss it like the plague (IMHO)FUTURS::BURRELLLive long/prosper-live short/enjoyMon Jul 15 1996 07:0419

    	This is the first movie that I actually walked out of half way
    	through. Given the looks my girlfriend was giving me, it seems we
    	should have walked out 10 minutes earlier.

    	To give an idea of the level of humour (or the amount of alcohol
    	required)...

    	"look I've milked the cows."
    	 [display pale full of `milk', plus `milk' on upper lip]
    	"We don't have any cows"
    	"I'm going to clean my teeth"

    	Utter and complete cr*p.

    	Paul.

    	PS. That goes to show the power of the trailer, it looked quite
    	good there.

<-==== I guess it would be funnier to watch that scene... From what I've seen,
it's definitely a crazy hair-do movie. I just hope that the trailer doesn't
contain all the funny moments leaving nothing to surprise us in the film.

Simes.

    Yeah!!! I hate that! Basically all of Jim Carrey's movie trailers are
    overdone like that to the point that you are sick of them by the time
    the movie is released!! I wish the ad execs would open their eyes!!!

1132.5Well - I liked it!!! So there!CHEFS::KEIR_MWed Jul 17 1996 09:0811
    Well ! i just love to be different!!

    I saw the movie last night and although it wasn't really my type of
    humour (clever, sarcastic, subtle etc) as it was quite obvious humour,
    I found it incredibly funny!!
    It actually made me laugh out loud (which takes a lot from a film!)
    If you just want a bit of lighthearted entertainment without expecting
    anything spectacular from storyline, acting, or having to concentrate
    (?) then I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

1132.7EnjoyableTUXEDO::FRIDAYDCE: The real world is distributed too.Fri Aug 02 1996 12:0916
    We saw it last night: me, my wife, and 10 year old son.

    Quite enjoyable. Some real laughs. However, the S&E review
    had me expecting to be rolling in the aisle, which we didn't.

    A lot of the humor is, apparently, based on familiarity with
    other movies. Since we don't see that many movies, we missed
    a lot of the funny stuff.

    Be sure and stay and watch the credits. The music is
    absolutely fantastic.

    There's some sexual innuendo stuff that some parents
    might find objectionable; it all went right over our son's
    head, except that we had to explain to him what a
    whore is when he asked.
