| I saw a preview for it a little while ago and it kinda looks like
"Casper" meets the "Ghost Busters"...it probably won't make my summer
list!

| I heard about it for the first time the other night in an interview with
Michael J. Fox on "Entertainment Tonight" or some such show. Apparently
he plays a guy who has some ghost pals - he gets them to haunt a house and
then he goes to the house owners and offers to get rid of the ghosts for a
hefty fee (what the ghosts get out of this arrangement, I don't know).
From the clips they showed, it looks like at some point Fox's
character becomes (or starts to become or seems to become) a ghost himself,
but it wasn't clear how that happened (i.e., whether he actually dies or
what).
That's about all I could tell of the movie. The effects looked pretty
good.

What little I recall from an article in EW is that MJ Fox plays a con
artist who somehow is able to "connect" with the spirits and with their
help he manages to con folks, but then at the end he or one of the
spirits gets to feeling guilty about doing it.
This isn't much I realize but I guess it just wasn't high enough on my
list of summer movies to pay that close attention to the article.

So I take it this is supposed to be a comedy??? If it is,
it's got one helluva cool lookin poster.
Too bad, I was thinkin of seeing it, til I found all this
out.

I saw a preview for this on the tube this weekend and it didn't look
anything like what EW wrote. EW made it seem like a comedy and yet the
preview made it look like a scary movie. ????? I don't know.....
It doesn't make it to my must see summer movie list anyways....

| Interesting, nice special effects, average story.
Michael J. Fox does a nice job of acting. This couldn't have been an
easy role to play.
Catch it at a matinee or on video.
